Patricia (Thurston) Berry

RUTLAND – Patricia (Thurston) Berry, 69, died Saturday, February 5, 2005, in the Worcester Medical Center, Worcester, after a long illness.
She leaves three sons, James S. Berry of Brimfield, Robert G. Berry and John J. Berry both of North Brookfield; two daughters, Carolyn Berry of Millbury and Susan P. Marshall of Webster; two brothers, Stuart C. Thurston Jr. of Boylston and Peter Thurston of Merritt Island, Fl; three grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Berry was born in Worcester, daughter of Stuart C. and Margery S. (Simpson) Thurston Sr., and lived in Holden before moving to Rutland in 1948. She was a member of the First Congregational Church of Rutland, the Rutland Historical Society and enjoyed reading, gardening and decorating.
The memorial service for Patricia will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, February 9, in the Fellowship Hall of the First Congregational Church of Rutland, 264 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Rutland. There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to the Life Care Center of Auburn, 14 Masonic Circle, Auburn, MA 01501. Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden, is directing arrangements.
