Paul W. Garry, 77, of Rutland, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully at home on July 4, 2026.
Born on November 20, 1948, in Worcester, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Joseph and Loretta (Marcille) Garry.
Paul proudly served his country as a Vietnam Veteran in the 25th Infantry Division, Tropic Lightning. Following his military service, he built a successful career as an entrepreneur, owning Golden Star Insulation and V Garre Stables. He also worked for many years at Norton/Saint-Gobain Worcester Abrasives.
More than anything, Paul treasured the adventures he shared traveling with his wife to the ocean, the Dominican Republic, and amusement parks. He had a lifelong love of animals, especially dogs and horses, and loved hitting the trails with family. friends, and his favorite horse, “Uncle Joe”.
Paul is survived by his devoted wife, Victoria L. Garry (Schnare); his daughters, Jodi Bain of East Brookfield, Crystal Garry of Sterling, and Amy Garry and her fiancé, Steve Long, of Gatesville, Texas; his grandchildren, Destiny, Drew, Victoria, and Thomas; and two great-grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him.
A committal service for Paul will take place privately at the family's convenience, at Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Winchendon.
