STERLING/WEST BOYLSTON – Priscilla Rosalie Jackson Wilson, 83, formerly a long-time resident of West Boylston, passed away peacefully at her home in Sterling surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, May 15, 2013. She was born in Southbridge, the daughter of Harold C. and Emma K. (Erikson) Jackson.
Priscilla grew up in Worcester and graduated from North High School. She graduated from Clark University in 1951 with a degree in sociology. Priscilla worked at Worcester County National Bank and Simplex Time Recorder. She was a member of the First Congregational Church of West Boylston and active in the prayer shawl ministry. She was a charter member of ABWA, the Minute Women Chapter and was a past president of the Women’s Club of West Boylston and Sterling. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, reading and traveling, especially to Ogunquit, ME and eating lobster. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her family and friends.
She leaves her husband of 62 years, Donald E. Wilson; her children, Christine Thompson and her husband, Bruce of Mercer Island, WA, Dana Wilson and his wife, Melanie of Fort Worth, TX, Judi Wilson of Santa Clara, CA, David Wilson and his wife, Celia of Acton, Daniel Wilson and his wife, Lori of Winston Salem, NC, Carol Boudrieau and her husband, Richard of Duxbury and Melissa Rondinone and her husband, Ralph of Sterling; 21 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; her twin brother, Harold “Jackie” C. Jackson, Jr. of South Carolina; and nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her sister, Joan Simon.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, May 17, in the Miles–Sterling Funeral and Tribute Center, 100 Worcester Road, Sterling. A memorial service honoring Priscilla’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 18, in the First Congregational Church of West Boylston, 26 Central Street, West Boylston, MA 01583.
