Richard B. Friedman

VENICE, FL - Richard B. Friedman, 78 of Venice, Florida and Saunderstown, Rhode Island passed away unexpectedly on December 8th. He was the beloved husband of Lynda (Perrotta) Friedman. Born in Worcester, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Harold and Edith Friedman.

Richard managed Ideal Paper Supply in Worcester, a family business, for many years before joining the management team of Eastern Bag & Paper Company in Milford, CT where he remained until his retirement.

Richard will be lovingly missed and remembered by his daughter Tonia Rose Klein and her husband Jeffery. He was a devoted Pop Pop to Eleanor Rose & Alexander Jacob Klein; a cherished brother to Lois Goodstein and her husband Peter, and Jerome Friedman and his wife Susan; esteemed brother-in-law to Edward and the late Linda Perrotta, and Gina and Steven Colagiovanni. Richard is also survived by his loving nieces and nephews and dearest friends.

Family and friends will gather for a graveside funeral service on Monday December 15th at 11am at B’nai Brith Cemetery, 55 St. John’s Road, Worcester, MA. Arrangements are in the care of Miles Funeral Home of Holden, MA.

Shiva will be observed at 2175 Boston Neck Road, Saunderstown, RI from 2:00pm to 7:00pm on Tuesday December 16th.
