JEFFERSON - Rita M. Tremblay, 101, of Milton, NH, formerly of Jefferson, passed away peacefully at home with her daughter at her side on December 20, 2025. She is the loving wife of the late Leo A. Tremblay who predeceased her in 2007.

She was born in Mexico, Maine to Emile and Marie (Fortier) Poirier, the 2nd of 11 children. She met her husband Leo while working at her first job at Crompton & Knowles. In the last few years of her life, Rita was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan and always saved room for a Klondike Bar after dinner.

Rita leaves behind her four children, John Tremblay and his wife Sandra of Rutland, Paul Tremblay of Deerfield, NH, Robert Tremblay of Holden, and Nancy Tremblay of Milton, NH; grandchildren, Robert LeCours, Katherine Tremblay, and Paul Tremblay Jr; great grandchildren, Kevin LeCours and Alyssa LeCours; a great great grandchild Robert LeCours; siblings, Bert Poirier, Edgar Poirier, Emile Poirier, and Marie DiDonna; and many nieces and nephews.
