Rescheduled funeral service due to weather for
Robert E. Danico
HOLDEN – Calling hours for Robert will be held from 5:00 ~ 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 20, followed by a funeral service at 7:30 p.m. in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden.
HOLDEN – Robert E. Danico, 48, of North St., Jefferson, was stricken ill at work and died at UMass Memorial Healthcare, University Campus on Friday, March 15, 2013. Born on January 22, 1965 in Lowell, Bob is the son of Martha F. (Jayes) Danico and lived most of his life in Jefferson.
Bob graduated from Wachusett Regional High School in 1983 and later from Worcester Industrial Technical Institute in 1985. He worked as a carpenter in Holden for many years.
Bob was an avid outdoorsman. In 1991, his passion for fishing inspired him to open Wachusett Bait and Tackle in West Boylston which he owned and operated for 15 years. He was a devoted son, brother, and uncle and will be missed by all those who loved him for his warm heartedness and gifted sense of humor and sarcasm.
He is survived and will be lovingly missed by his mother, three sisters, Catherine M. Hadley and her husband John of West Boylston, Victoria F. Titus of North Sutton, NH, and Elizabeth A. Oldakowski and her husband Thomas of West Boylston; nephews and nieces including, Nick Hadley, Christine, Dave, Rob, and Katie Titus, Emily and Cayla Oldakowski. His brother Richard Danico and stepfather Harold Jennette predeceased him.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Bob’s family between 5 and 7 p.m. on Wednesday,March 20, at the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden, followed by a funeral service honoring his life at 7:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mass Division of Fisheries and Wildlife, 1 Rabbit Hill Road, Westborough, MA 01581.
