HOLDEN – Robert “Bob” J. DiPerrio, Jr., 55, of Wachusett Street, Jefferson, died peacefully at home on Friday, December 14, 2012, after a brief illness.
He leaves his two sons, John A. and Michael C. DiPerrio, both of Holden; his mother, Virginia M. (Pendleton) DiPerrio of Holden and his father and step-mother, Robert J. DiPerrio, Sr. and Eleanor P. DiPerrio of Holden; a brother, Thomas E. DiPerrio of Jefferson; a sister, LuAnn A. DiPerrio of Holden; several aunts, uncles, cousins .
Bob was born in Holden and lived in Holden all of his life. He was a 1975 graduate of Wachusett Regional High School. He was in the excavating business for over 35 years and owned and operated an excavating company in Holden. He enjoyed playing golf at both Bedrock in Rutland and Dunroamin in Gilbertville. He especially loved hunting and fishing. The time spent with his two sons was the most important to him.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 3 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, December 16, and again at 10 a.m. on Monday, December 17, at the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden, followed by a procession to St. Mary’s Church, 114 Princeton Street, Jefferson, for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, 1326 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden.
