Robert P. Sheehan

WORCESTER/PAXTON – Robert P. "Bobby" Sheehan passed away peacefully on Friday, July 17, 2026, at the UMass Memorial Medical Center – University Campus in Worcester.

Raised in Paxton, Bobby later moved to Worcester, where he resided for many years. He was a graduate of Wachusett Regional High School. For several years, Bobby worked as a delivery truck driver for various local companies, navigating the roads of the community he loved.

Bobby was a proud and active member of the Genesis Club of Worcester, where he found wonderful community and support. A man of deep and enduring faith, he was a devout Catholic who dedicated time each day to praying the Rosary for the health, happiness, and protection of his beloved family and friends.

He was predeceased by his loving parents, Robert P. and Helen T. Sheehan of Paxton, and his brother, Edward Sheehan of Paxton.

Bobby’s memory will be cherished by his family, including his brother, William Sheehan of Vallejo, CA; his two sisters, Nancy Sheehan of Worcester and Mary Sheehan and her husband, William Townsend, of Mount Kisco, NY; his cherished niece, Amanda Sheehan of Vallejo, CA; his nephews, Samuel Townsend and John Townsend, both of Mount Kisco, NY; and many cousins and dear friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service celebrating Bobby's life at 12 p.m. on Thursday, July 23, 2026 at Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden.  Burial will follow at Mooreland Cemetery, Paxton.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Genesis Club, 274 Lincoln Street, Worcester, MA  01605.
