Rodney J. Paquette

JEFFERSON – Rodney J. Paquette, age 84, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, May 2, 2026. Born in Worcester, Rodney was the son of Russell and Catherine A. (McInnis) Paquette.

His brother Ronald J. Paquette passed in 2020, and his sister, Cynthia A. (Paquette) Egan, in 2021. Ronald lived his entire life in Holden.

He will be lovingly remembered and missed by his brother-in-law Gary Egan, nephew Jason Egan and niece Leigh-Ann Egan, all of Jefferson; two great nephews, Ryan and Jayden Egan and great-niece Keiara Hunter; his longtime care giver, Martha Wolfe of Holden and Jessica Wolfe of CT; cousins Lisa Towle and Amy Bengston of Holden; and dear friend, Steven Gaskin of Holden.

Rodney graduated from Wachusett Regional High School in 1960 and furthered his education at Worcester Junior College and Clark University. He owned and operated R.J. Paquette LLC, a Redimix concrete company with his family for the last 50 years.

A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family with burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Holden. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Alzheimer’s Association online at https://www.alz.org/get-involved-now/donate.
