Biography

MILFORD – Ronald M. Goldberg, 78, died on Sunday, September 18th, at the Milford Regional Medical Center after a short illness.

He leaves his wife of 55 years, Rita (Sulkes) Goldberg; a son, Richard Goldberg, and his wife, Ann of Shrewsbury; a daughter, Stephanie Goldberg and her husband, Peter Padavano of Shrewsbury; a sister-in-law, Jude Sulkes of Wayland; and three grandchildren, Sarah and Kathryn Giusti and Ari Peter Padavano.

He graduated Moses Brown Academy in Providence, Rhode Island, attended the University of Pennsylvania and graduated from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy.

He was an expert watch aficionado. He owned and operated Marshall’s Jewelers for 45 years.

He was a 50 year member of the Perfection Lodge of Mason’s of Framingham, Beth Shalom Synagogue of Milford and was a member of the Rotary Club of Milford.

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 12:00 NOON ON TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 20TH IN BETH ISRAEL SYNAGOGUE, 15 JAMESBURY DRIVE, WORCESTER UNDERTHE DIRECTION OF RICHARD PERLMAN OF MILES FUNERAL HOME OF HOLDEN. Burial will be in B’Nai Brith Cemetery, Worcester.

Immediately following the interment service, memorial observance will be held at The Willows, 101 Barry Road, Worcester and later from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at his residence. Memorial observance will continue from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday and Thursday at his residence. Minyan service will be at 6:30 PM each evening at his residence.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Oliva Patient Care Fund, Milford Regional Medical Center, 14 Prospect Street, Milford, MA 01759.
