Rosalind "Roz" (Greece) Rosenberg-Skiest

WORCESTER – Rosalind “Roz” (Greece) Rosenberg-Skiest, age 93, died unexpectedly on Thursday, January 9, 2026, at UMASS Memorial Medical Center – University Campus. Born in Worcester, Roz was the daughter of Samuel and Ida (Teitz) Greece and was a lifelong resident of Worcester.

Roz will be lovingly missed and remembered by her devoted children, Lauri Rosenberg, Paul Rosenberg, and Nancy Carter and her husband, Peter; her cherished grandchildren, Jesse Carter, Lucas Carter and Lilly Rosenberg; her sister, Sandy Miliefsky and her children Gary and Michelle; her step-children, Rebecca Simon and her husband, Gregg , Jonathan Skiest and his wife Joy, and Stephen Skiest and his wife, Dorie; and her step-grandchildren, Jessica and her husband Dave Rodriguez, Spencer Simon and his wife Nina Jayashankar, Jacob Simon, Nora Skiest, Emma Skiest, James Skiest and Natalie Skiest. She was predeceased by her first husband, Joseph Rosenberg in 1991, and her second husband, Earle Skiest in 2025, as well as her sisters, Rae Lee Rosenberg and Reva Hurwitz.

Family and friends will gather to honor Roz’s memory at her Funeral Service at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 12th at Congregation Beth Israel, 15 Jamesbury Drive, Worcester. Interment will follow in the Workmen’s Circle section of Holy Society Cemetery, Havana Road, Leicester. Arrangements are in the care of Miles Funeral Home of Holden.  Memorial Observance will be announced.
