Russell A. Gibson

HOLDEN – Russell Allen Gibson, 73, beloved father of Timothy Gibson, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 31, 2026, at Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center in Northborough. Born and raised in Worcester, he was the son of the late Chester and Louise (Johnson) Gibson.

Upon graduating from Wachusett High School he went on to enjoy a long career in the paving and excavating business and was a master of trades. Russell also plowed snow for the state and cleared Route 122-A for over 20 years. He enjoyed trucks of all kinds, especially John Deere and Mack Trucks.

Russell was a beloved and well-known member of the community. He will be remembered for his kindness and generosity and his willingness to help anyone in need.

He will be lovingly missed and remembered by his son, Timothy Gibson of Holden; and his former wife, Sandara Gibson of Holden.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather with the family from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, September 17 in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
