Ruth Dorothy (Elliott) Chapman

GUANGA, CA/WORCESTER – Ruth D. (Elliott) Chapman, 96, formerly of Rochelle Street, Worcester, died peacefully at Maisey's Guest Home in Hemet, CA. Mrs. Chapman was born in Milford, the daughter of Walter Edward and Elsie Maria (Syria) Elliott.
Her husband Harvey L. Chapman died in 2000. Mrs. Chapman leaves her daughter, Bette R. Burchstead of Aguanga, CA; four grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; one great-great-great-grandchild; and many nephews and nieces. She is predeceased by one grandchild.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service for Mrs. Chapman on Friday, August 26, 2011 at 1 p.m. at High Plains Cemetery, High Street, West Boylston. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 51 Blossom St., Boston, MA 02114-2699. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Miles Funeral Home.
