HOLDEN – Ruth G. (Fredrickson) Moore, of 137 Chapel Street, died Thursday, January 20, 2004, in UMass Memorial Hospital in Worcester.
Her husband, Roy H. Moore, died in 1994. She leaves a daughter, Jinja B. Noel and her husband Mark of Paxton; two grandchildren, Jenna B. and Eric J. Noel of Paxton. Two sisters, Lillie Groning and Ellen Berg, predeceased her. She was born in Worcester the daughter of Axel T. and Karolina M. (Johansson) Fredrickson and lived 52 years in Holden.
Mrs. Moore graduated from Commerce High School and was a hairdresser at Denholm’s Department Store and Christies Hair Salon both in Worcester. She was a member of the Greendale People’s Church and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed painting, traveling and golfing.
The funeral service for Mrs. Moore will be held at 12 noon on Monday, January 24, in Greendale People’s Church, 25 Francis Street, Worcester. Entombment will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Avenue, Paxton. Calling hours are from 9 to 11 a.m. on Monday, January 24, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden. Flowers may be sent, or donations may be made to Greendale People’s Church, 25 Francis Street, Worcester, MA 01606.
