Davenport, FL/Rutland, MA - Sherry M. (Bissonnette) Blair, 60, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 21, 2025. Born in Worcester and raised in Rutland, she was the daughter of Dwight and Myrtle (Harmon) Bissonnette.
She will be lovingly missed and remembered by her three daughters, Tanya Blair of Rutland, Brittney Gove and her husband, Brendan of Shrewsbury, and Morgan Blair of Orlando, FL; her parents, Dwight and Myrtle Bissonnette of Rutland; her twin sister, Susanne DiPilato and niece, Madison of FL, and nephew Garrett of CT; her grandson, Levi Blair Benitah; her granddaughter, Olivia Mae Blair Ribera, and her granddaughter on the way, Basil Lee Gove; and her former husband, Joel Blair of Rutland.
After raising her daughters, Sherry relocated to Davenport, FL where she was a devoted and faithful member of Real Life Christian Church in Clermont, FL. She enjoyed the warm sunshine, swaying palm trees, and tropical turquoise pool water for the past 13 years. Sherry supported her girls in everything they did. If it were daily trips to Sterling Gymnastics or watching her daughters sing, she never missed a performance. Showbiz Sherry brought the crowd! Sherry was a numbers girl and made it a game to get from point A to point B as fast and efficiently as possible. She was extremely competitive and was always right; Mumma knew best. She was precise with time predictions and knew all the short cuts. No one could out-drive Sherry and White Lightning. Sherry took charge of organizing and planning to a T. She loved Disney World dearly and made sure she had annual pass access to visit as frequently as she wanted; she was everyone's tour guide. She brought the fun to every gathering and was the silliest person in the room. Free?! Music to her ears! Sherry bargained for everything and with everyone for the best deal, and if she had an opinion about anything, you'd hear about it!
Relatives and friends are invited to gather with the family from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 29 in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 30 at the Heritage Bible Chapel, 182 Brooks Station Road, Princeton.
