PRINCETON - Steven F. Bourassa, 64, passed away at home on Wednesday, December 16, 2020. He was born in Waterville, Maine, the son of the late Frank and Dorothy (Veilleux) Bourassa and had lived in the Princeton, MA area for over 20 years.
Steve grew up in Winslow, Maine and graduated from Winslow High School. He went on to attend Blaine Hair School in Boston and pursued a long career in hair styling. Steve was a gifted hair stylist and was most recently the owner of Hair Divine Salon in Hudson, MA. He treated his clients like family and will be deeply missed by them.
Steve had a life-long passion for the theatre. He volunteered his skills and talents as a hair stylist, creating fantastic hair styles for the performers. Steve was a strong supporter of human rights and had volunteered for numerous political campaigns. He also enjoyed cooking and spending quality time with his beloved dogs.
He was predeceased by his partner Scott Ventola. Steve will be lovingly missed and remembered by his siblings, Elaine Roy and her husband Angel Gabriel of Mexico; Allen Bourassa and his partner Patricia Goodnow of Winslow, ME; Ruth Gagne and her husband, Tom of Brewer, ME; Jeff Bourassa and his wife, Julie of Winslow, ME; and many nieces, nephews and countless friends.
A memorial service honoring and celebrating Steve's life will be announced and held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to your local Humane Society. Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden, MA is assisting the family with arrangements.
