WEST BOYLSTON- Thomas J. Cooke, 56, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 24, 2020. He was born in Worcester, the son of the late, Leonard J. Cooke and had lived most of his life in West Boylston.
His beloved wife of 24 years, Lisa Rae (Peterson) Cooke, passed away on 2017. He is leaves his daughters, Kara Cooke of West Boylston and Alysia Cooke of Worcester; his mother, Alice T. (James) Cooke of Worcester; his sister, Theresa Mulryan and her husband, Dennis of West Boylston and Patricia Warren and her husband, Wayne of Orange, CT; his brothers, John Cooke of Auburn and Robert Cooke of Worcester; and several nieces and nephews.
Tom graduated from West Boylston High School in 1981. He was a specialize machinist for METSO Corp., formerly Jamesbury Corp., for 35 years before he retiried in 2015. He enjoyed to spend time outdoors, scuba diving, camping, clamming and fishing. He also enjoyed country music and was an animal lover at heart. He will be sadly missed.
A private graveside service will be held at Mount Vernon Cemetery in West Boylston. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice. Arrangements are under the care of the Miles-Sterling Funeral and Tribute Center, 100 Worcester Road, Sterling.
