WORCESTER – Virginia A. (Ceraska) Fikoski, 93, passed away on Mothers Day, Sunday, May 12, 2013 at Lutheran Home after an illness.
Her husband, Chester S. Fikoski, passed away in 1986. She leaves a son, John Fikoski of Worcester; a sister, Emily Witkus of West Boylston; and several nephews and nieces. A brother, John Ceraska and a sister, Adella Ceraska predeceased her.
Virginia was born in Worcester, the daughter of Anthony and Agnes (Miliauskas) Ceraska and graduated from the High School of Commerce. She was a homemaker and once worked at Wiley Bickford Sweet Corp. She was a member of St. Christopher’s Church and the Knights of Lithuania Council 26, both in Worcester. Virginia enjoyed gardening, flowers and bird watching and made friends wherever she went. She will be sadly missed and quietly remembered.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, May 16, from 5 to 7 p.m., in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden. Funeral services for Virginia will be held on Friday, May 17, from the funeral home with a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Christopher’s Church, 950 West Boylston Street, Worcester.
