Virginia E. Gow

HOLDEN – Virginia E. (Good) Gow, 87, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at UMass Memorial Medical Center.

Ginny was born in Worcester, MA, in 1937, the daughter of the late Karl and Gladys (Heap) Good. She graduated from Classical High School and Lasell College. She was a stay-at-home mom until her children were in school, and then she was employed as an Administrative Assistant in the Pediatrics Department at UMass Memorial Medical Center for 30 years.

Ginny leaves her daughter, Jennifer Gow of Yarmouth, ME; her sister, Karlene Spencer of Rome, GA; a niece, Kristin Spencer of Chattanooga, TN; and her nephew, Mark Spencer of Aurora, CO. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son, David Gow in 2016, and her former husband, Richard Gow in 2022.

Ginny enjoyed her three-mile walks, loved to read, and enjoyed having lunch with her many friends. She will be missed.

According to her wishes, there will be no calling hours. Funeral services will be private, but prayers and kind thoughts are appreciated.
