WORCESTER - Virginia J. (Minka) Theodosis, 91, passed away peacefully surrounded by her beloved family on Tuesday, February 10, 2026. She is now reunited with her husband, Daniel J. Theodosis, who predeceased her in 2004.
Born and raised in Worcester, Virginia was the daughter of the late Theodore P. and Thomaidha (Thomo) Minka. She attended Worcester Public Schools and graduated from Commerce High School in 1951. Devoted to her home and family, Virginia embraced her role as a homemaker, creating a loving and welcoming environment for those she cared for most.
She leaves behind her cherished son, John D. Theodosis of Worcester and her loving daughters, Joanne Harrington and her husband James of Worcester; Denise Laroche and her husband Richard of Worcester; and Staci Robichaud and her husband James of Holden. She was the loving grandmother of Jessica, Richard, Sara, Katlyn, Lea, and Lauren; the proud great-grandmother of Hannah, Alana, Kaiden, Karolyn, Adalynn, and Luka; and great-great-grandmother of Cameron and Melody. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and by her loving companion of many years, Lewis Adamopoulous.
In addition to her husband and parents, Virginia was predeceased by her sister, Carol Dell’Aquila; and her brother, Andrew Minka.
Virginia found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved playing cards, working on jigsaw puzzles, reading, and watching baseball. A faithful and active member of St. Mary’s Assumption Albanian Orthodox Church, she was devoted to the Women’s Guild, senior luncheons, church festivals, and faithfully working the candle stand. She also enjoyed traveling, visiting the casino, and was proud of her accomplishments as a ten-pin bowling champion. Above all else, Virginia treasured time spent with her family, who were the center of her life.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Calling Hour on Friday, February 20, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Assumption Albanian Orthodox Church, 535 Salisbury Street, Worcester.
